Funding / Subsidies

Subsidies for modern wood heating systems
(Biomass heating Systems)

Upon application, biomass heating systems will receive a one-off flat-rate subsidy as follows:

 

  • wood chip/pellets heating systems with EUR 290.69

  • fan-assisted wood heating systems with EUR 218.02

 

Funding will be granted if the applicable funding guidelines of the state of Styria are met. There is no legal entitlement to funding.

Home Ownership Subsidies

Anyone who builds their own home or builds an extension to their home can apply to the market town of Turnau for building funding.

 

  • This amounts (depending on the size of the home) up to EUR 1,100.

  • Builders of condominiums will receive EUR 363 in funding.

Solar Systems & Photovoltaics and Electricity Storage

The investment funding applies to construction projects in accordance with Section 2 of the Styrian Building Act 1995 as amended. The application form must be submitted to the building authority of the market town of Turnau regardless of the funding approval.
